Software Engineer/User Interface Designer
Job Description:
1. Analyzing information to determine, recommend, and plan specifications and layouts, to construct flexible Cascading Style Sheet (CSS) dynamic content applications;
2. Apply knowledge of Java, Javascript, and JSP to develop CSS Cascades that support the major browsers including Internet Explorer, Firefox, and Safari;
3. Designing HTML and CSS that works seamlessly with the Java and JSP programs involved in the generation of the content and develop and integrate JavaScript into the output HTML code using Ajax, Java, JSP and Javascript; 4. Work closely with others on the engineering team to develop programs that marry templates with the data and resources associated with the users of the service utilizing mySQL.
5. Design and hand code high–impact web-based user interfaces in browser-based technologies including Java, JSP, and CSS.
6. Perform design definition and documentation, design implementation, and performance measurement and analysis.
Education and Experience Requirement: Masters Degree in Engineering or Computer Science or closely related field plus one-year relevant experience or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or closely related field and five years of progressively responsible experience in a related field.
